My Go-To Self-Healing Technique

This Higher Self self-healing method is still my go-to when I am in need of healing something in my ego-centered personality. Hamster-wheeling after getting triggered by someone close to me. Issues of my wounded ego. Needing help with challenges. This “meditation” has helped me to receive healing and wisdom, truth, and clarity about any one situation.

Finding the Answers

Nineteen years ago I was on a very stressful trip with my mother and this approach to self-healing came to me in a time of real need. I’ve practiced it at least weekly ever since. When I say it “came to me,” I mean that it came to me internally. During that time I had been asking my Higher Self to clear our connection, whatever was in the highest good. That consistent habit must have paved the way for the download.

Frequently using this approach has also taught me discernment. I truly now “know” when I am given an answer that is true.

“I ask my Higher Self to please send me healing around ____(XYZ situation), and I pray for insight. Thank you.”

When I am steadfast with repeating the request almost like a mantra, even over a number of days, I always feel a positive shift and often receive surprising insight.

Using this approach so frequently has given me discernment. I now “know” when I am given an answer that is true because I keep repeating the question for as long as needed until I feel the visceral knowing that an insight is true. If the “answer” doesn’t lock in as true then I keep repeating the request for healing and insight, knowing that my personality/ego is inserting the answer. The truth of it seems to lock into my heart.

Sometimes, for a sticky emotional issue, I need to repeat the request over and over for even a week until I get the knowing. Sometimes I receive the truth of the insight right away.
